This is a fabulous antique sterling silver Chinese lock pendant. It is a pendant which is known as a long life lock. "It was a blessing which symbolized longevity & prosperity & was hung around a baby's neck when it reached 100 days. It was not to be taken off until the child married." This pendant measures 1" x 3/4" x 3/8", and has a Chinese hallmark (see pic). It weighs 3 grams, and comes on a silk cord. It has deeply chased decorations- Chinese characters on one side & flowers, and is in great condition. I'll leave the polishing to its new owner. . Buyer Pays S/H.
